Be aware that the "standard 6x9 speaker" you have is probably not so standard.
Bose speakers are often a strange low impedance and is matched to the
bose amp for frequency response, so if you replace it with a "standard"
aftermarket speaker you will probably not get sufficient output, and
have poor sound (worse than stock).
