NAC: Tool for bushing removal/installation

Hi there,

If Audi had the guts to import an A6 wagon with a stick, this question
wouldn't be NAC. We had to buy a Saab because Honey wanted a big wagon
with a stick. She was paying, so she got the Saab (not a bad car, but
not an Audi for sure).

I need a tool to remove and replace a bushing into a rear suspension arm
on our family car, a Saab 9-5. I don't want to buy the Saab specific
tool, mainly because it is used only on this car
(http://saab.spx.com/detail.asp?id=291) and my other car, the Quattro
will need some a-arms bushings soon.

What I want is a similar device, with the threaded rod and some cups,
but I know I will have to create a suitable cup for this particular
application. In this case, the bushing is 45mm OD, 12mm ID and 52mm
wide, item 8 on this drawing
(http://www.thesaabsite.com/shop/catimages/top/Saab-95-Rear-Suspension.j
pg).

I don't mind paying up to 200$ for a good universal tool that will help
me in the future jobs on my numerous old cars... You know, at 90$ and
hour, this job at the dealer will cost about that, and there are 4 of
these on the car just at the rear suspension...

So, is there an universal puller that is worth its weight in gold ?
