Audi parts for an old car

I have found something interesting. Is it possible that you guys who are
looking for dealer Type$$ parts are getting "lazy" parts guys who just dont
want to look stuff up? In the past 2 weeks I've been pricing some pretty
odd-ball items for my boss' 200 20vTQ, his sons 5ktq, and my 5ktq and I have
yet to hear NLA. For the 5ktq's I priced the crome strips for above and
below the grille, the rubber gasket below the grill, diff-lock
solenoid/actuator, speedo-sensor and I can't recall what else but at least
half a dozen other things. Granted all of the above was friggin expensive
even at my cost, but all was availible. IIRC the chrome bits were $60ea, the
rubber gasket was $30ish and the diff lock actuator was $150ish, the
speedo-sensor was $88.

P.S. somebody out there wanted to do a quad headlight conversion a bit ago.
I found an '84 5kT Autobox that I can buy for $100. If anybody out there
needs parts let me know and I'll buy the sucker if its cost effective.

P.P.S.- The part# is different between the speedo-sensor in the above early
5kt from my '86 5kTQ, but does anybody know if they are compatible?
