You can feel the knock sensor cutting back the timing. There is no
missing it. It feels as if some little man were sitting in there
with his finger on a switch and when he detects a single ping he
shuts the switch off and you loose a major portion of your
power. Ease off on the loud pedal and then get on it again and the
power returns until the next ping. I experienced this any number of
times during trial runs while Mihnea and I were developing software
for my S6. Make that "while Mihnea was developing software for my
car and I was burning chips and trying them for him".
