What about using aftermarket air shocks? Something like Monroe Air Max or
Gabriel Air-Adjust? I know they aren't "higher performance" like Bilstein
but they do work well for both adding load carying capacity/leveling and for
raising an unloaded car. Or what about using an air-bag suspension kit like
they use on lowriders? They don't HAVE to be used to lower a car, they can
also raise a car .
