Below are the links to the 2084 crank tool and
alternative tools some have tried successfully.

I actually ended up buying the tool from ZDMAK for
$84. 50 + S&H. The BEST or should I say cheapest price
I came up with among all those who carry the tool.

The tool already paid off for between 2 timing belt
jobs and a clutch job to lock the flywheel.

Here is the link to one of the home made crank tools:

An alternative tool as per “Robert M"

I have one of these:

Actually, I have a $4 chinese copy of one of these.
It can be a trick to hook it into the crank pulley but
once it's in it works a trick, resting against the
snub mount.

Not my idea, think I got it off audiworld.

$0.02,
Robert

Also from Robert, same tool at Sears:

I have used a 'spring bar' type prybar to lock the
crank pully on a number of occasions. Some would
label that a kludge, but at $9.99 vs. $109, kludge me
up!

(should lead to a craftsman 13.5" pry bar, pn

I got a cheap chinese one at the local hardware store:
$3.99.
