S4 -> CQ AAN conversion

I say do it. The CQ with a 20vt is a decent investment. A souple (done
to a very high standard) have changed hands for over $20k.
There is A LOT to how the conversion is done. There are many questions
to ask before you just have them do it. I know quite well as I am
dealing with all the short comings of my "professional" installation.
The PO had it done and he didn't care much as long as it ran and looked
good.
Where are they going to put the ECU? What harness are they going to
use? Do they guarantee all items will work (gages, code reading,
AC,...). Where is the battery going? Will they install the proper
length battery cable (no splices)? I could go on.
I am not trying to discourage you, just provide a reality check.
My car is a hoot and I absolutely love it. I had a 90q20v sedan and 2
CQ's before this car. It fills the major short coming in the other
cars, power. Now on to brakes...
Get informed and ask lots of questions.
Cheers,
Dave Kase
