Getting Fed Up with 17-in Low Profile Tires.....

So far, I've been happy with my 235/45-17 Falken FK451's, but I've barely
got 4000 miles on 'em. Excellent in the rain, lots of dry grip, quiet and
smooth riding at the expense of response, they're
somewhat softer in sidewall than I had hoped for in a Max Perf tire. Not too
expensive either. I was
expecting them to be Kumho MX equivalents (lack the response) when they were
hard to get, so
in that respect, a bit of a disappointment, but for daily driving, they're
pretty darned good.
