Getting Fed Up with 17-in Low Profile Tires.....

Nothing recent. About 10 years ago, negative experience. But 10 years
might as well be a lifetime ago when it comes to tire compounding and
technology. It's simply not a relevant data point today.

My more recent experience with Sumitomos was instructing students with them.
I'm fortunate in this regard- I get seat time with most of the enthusiast
tires either driving or instructing. I'm not certain what particular
model(s) I've been on the past year, but I'd sum up my collective thoughts
in this regard: not a bad budget tire- good performance for the buck. But
definitely not impressive.
