Not the same type of mechanism. A bike tranny uses no syncro's, they
have dog-legs. A dog-leg tranny actually wears LESS the faster and
harder you shift, whereas a snycro tranny is the opposite. Find
Hewlands website, theres many articles on shifting techniques, and
even more on how Hewland dog trannies differ from syncro trannies.
