One word:   Diesel.  

VAG's diesel engines are much better than anything "Breaks in Mysterious
Ways" has to offer.  Italian highways, a Phaeton 3.0 TDI and triple digit
speeds last summer convinced me.  ;-)

Any numbers out there on how many of those euro sales were oil burners?
