5ktq speedometer error

Most speedometers are calibrated over true speed. This is more to help
you to aviod tickets than anything else, from what I understand. My V8
is 3mph over at 70, and the 4000 was 2-3 at 65. The odometer is
correct, I think you'll find. Drive a known distance and compare. The
odo doesn't drive off the speedo. They both recieve input from the
cable or sender, then split off to their respective jobs.
