Personal experience with one urq and two S6's; one stock and one
RS2'ed...forget the light oil. Great for the newer cars, but not our
old I5 turbos. !@#$%^&*Dealer didn't use the 5W50 M1 I brought and put
the light stuff (Kendall) in all three, and all three blew out or burned
a quart in the first few hundred miles after NEVER burning a quart in
2500-3000 miles between changes over twenty years. I wouldn't go near
anything lighter than Amsoil 10W40.
YMMV, but I don't want that light shit anywhere near the older cars.
Fine stuff for the 2.0T in the GTI, but keep it away from my I5 turbos.
