I've had pretty good luck with an offset wrench. Not the cheap kind you can
only get on one way, but the good kind. Let some heavy duty penetrant (like
PB Blaster) get in there and let it sit. Heating the nut should help too.
Just make sure the stud stays cooler. I've had to take other things out of
the way like filters and oil cooler hoses just to get more room in there.
To take out the turbo, you'll have to remove or at least loosen the
down-pipe. Removing it will allow you to pull the turbo away from the
manifold, without interfering with the outlet studs and the down-pipe.
