95 Audi A 6 gasoline mileage

My friend's 100CSQ Avant (same car as yours, just a wagon. Still V6, auto)
gets about 18 mpg in around town (not true city) to 23-4 mpg
on open highways. And that takes significant efforts at nursing
the throttle, which isn't easy on a car with such limited power for it's
weight.
