High Beams turn the lights off - 1990 200

Hi All:

 

Perhaps someone has already diagnosed this problem.

 

Low beams work fine

Pulling the lever to flash the high beams works fine

Pushing the lever forward to engage high beams - turns the lights off

 

I'm suspicious of the switch, and from reading the wiring diagrams - I
believe the yellow wire coming from the switch should give power to the
high beams?
