NF head on MC engine BTDT?

I don't know if "the list" knows this one, but I bet the folks at 
motorgeek.com do.  I think some of them still lurk here, but tend to 
forget to participate.

I would be concerned about the bore - the NF is a 2.3, the MC's are 2.2, 
right?
