... I too have a lifetime supply in the garage. If anyone in the SF Bay
Area needs some let me know ... not that it is expensive or hard to find ...
Since the stuff never hardens I have had pretty good luck reusing the stuff
I took off the old lens ...

It's butyl rubber, and can be bought at your local FLAPS. It comes in
a roll. I just bought some, it was about $15, IIRC. One roll will do
quite a few taillights.
