A5/S5 engine-trans pic?

the engine is still ahead (mostly) of the front axle line. the current a8
(d3) uses the same strategy (and has since 2004) by putting the front diff
ahead of the torque converter. this has the effect of moving the front axle
forward significantly. subaru will no doubt adopt a similar strategy for
their transaxle. the a5 is the b8 chassis ("b" is a "b" segment car - the
a6 is a "c" i.e. c6 and the a8 is a "d" i.e. d3).
the next logical step for audi is to use cassette "ears" to move the front
axle further forward on either side of the crankcase or, as is more usual,
to put the front diff alongside the crankcase and drive the axle through the
crankcase (crude but effective). this approach tends to keep weight higher
than it should be.

I was reading this article:
http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/ly/08s5.htm
It mentions that the engine is behind the front "axle".
Does anyone have one of the old fashioned high resolution Audi images of the
new engine/transmission combination that would show how they did that?
I'm also a bit confused.
Is the A5 based on the "B" chassis or the "C" chassis?
>From the apparent size of the car in photos I assumed it was based on the
"C" chassis, but now I hear mention of an A7 and I have to wonder if the A5
is based on the "B" chassis with the A7 based on the "C" chassis.
