An employee from the liquor store arrived with a Big fire extinguisher
(I'm guessing 25 lbs, if the little ones are 10, maybe 10 if the little
ones are 5). I could put the fire out beneath the car, but after pulling
the hood release, the flames shooting out the gap in hood kept me from
fishing in there to release the safety latch. Playing the extinguisher
on the grill and aiming at the crack didn't do any good. I may be crazy,
but I'm not stoopid, so I stepped back and joined the crowd to watch it
burn. That was painful. I couldn't even save the Euro lights. That's 2
sets of lights lost to engine fires.
