generic A4 questions

Thanks.  I was planning to look for a V6 because I expect to drive the car for the next 10 years and want long term reliability rather than performance.  I purposely avoided mentioning that because I knew it would start a debate on 1.8T vs 2.8 which started anyhow.  Thanks to everybody who responded to my question.
