The last copy *did* fit on a CD. But this is a new version.
It is 1.1GB, which is bigger than a CD.

As for the 100k download, maybe your download is dying before
it finishes.  You might try a download manager that lets you
restart an interrupted download.  Try Free Download Manager,
or Google for something similar.

And as was mentioned earlier, once you have the .RAR file,
and extracted the .ISO file contained in it, mount the ISO
file as a virtual hard drive and install from there.
