First I thought it was the ignition switch, now with that and the housing
both replaced, and it still happens on occasion, and that one time
I moved the shift lever and the car moved up a gear ... now sure
what else might be going on ....

>Hmmmm.

Hmmmm is right .... Audi will have to do step by step diagnosis if
someone on the list might not have an idea .... they are stumped as well.

Ouch $

Otherwise it is running good. Still adding hydraulic fluid but
otherwise is good.

Someone approached me the other day and offered to buy it!

Would that affect the car not moving into high gear when it is moving?

What kind of switch? Would you tell me where it is located?

Thank you ~!!

Thanks to everyone who wrote. Cheers, Fay
