Ok I am once again sorry for the WOB, but I must just say this:
THANK YOU EVERYBODY! I can't believe the flood of helping hands that came
in!
I also wanted to make sure to let you guys know that I don't have an icicle
farm on my chin, the house is holding in the high 60's with some electric
heating help, just burning alot of watt-hours.
I had to put rear brakes on my-better-half's 5k tonight so I didn't get home
from work in time to get under the house. I plan on heading down there
tomorrow eve. I think the most promising idea is that of a screen inside the
pump housing. I definately kinow I'm getting perfect oil flow all the way to
the pump, it's just that the pump isn't building pressure. I'm ruling out
the big issue as being one with the burner simply because I know that there
is no oil flowing from the pump to the burner area - the pump isn't making
any any pressure at all. Sounds exactly like what could be caused by a
micro-screen inside the pump that is used as a "last defense" against
particles. Think 5k fuel pump ;-).
I'll post one final message on here if/when I either fix it or throw in the
towel and call a professional out just to keep you guys updated.
Thanks again for all the responces, and keep the ideas flowing!!
