Heads, blocks, and turbos

Cool, it sounds like I'm on the right track. I used that combination
of parts because I knew it was unlikely the manifolds would be
interchangeable. I don't have any parts yet...

Tony and Huw, you both had compression numbers for head/short block
combinations. The Bently tells me everything about my short block,
but what would I need to know about alternate heads to derive the new
compression? Is there a specific set of measurements I can ask for?
I have a mechanic friend who doesn't like working on Audis, but has
access to the electronic manuals. I'm sure he would give me the
numbers if I knew what I was asking for.

Thanks
Rory
