Hi y'all.
I'm trying to figure out where to go with my _long_ time
5kcstq project. (Some pictures at http://www.5000tq.com/audifanspics/)
I have an AAN motor waiting in the wings in case I get crazy.
Should I go all-out with 10V improvements? This would include
getting rid of the CIS fuel-air system. This would avoid the
problem of major underhood mods.
Should I try to make my AAN motor look like a 3B so that
it would fit my type 44 chassis with ease? The downside is
that 3B engine related parts are pretty much NLA. For
example, the inter-cooler is NLA. In practice, I would need
to buy a good '91 200 just to support my 5k project.
Should I move on and rip out my entire engine bay in
order to make it look like an ur-s4/s6 under the hood?
But then, where would I put my radiator and inter-cooler?
I think we would be talking a lot of cutting and welding.
Should I just launch into the unknown?
Heavy shit, no?
I would really love to read any and all thoughts on this dilemma.
Best.
