IMO, nothing to worry about- Bosch ABS 5.1 and later implementations in
Audis
tend to bias heavily in the rear on initial braking in order to combat brake
dive.
Replacing rear brake pads on both our old A4 (B5 generation) as well as the
Beetle
occurred far earlier than the front pads, I think around 35k for both cars.
I've done the front pads on the Beetle at around 70k.
