Brake Balance

i'm going to have to agree with grant on this one. ive put 40k on my a4 and
it's worn front pads significantly and the rears are, as with every other
car i've owned [incl my 4kq, 5ktq and 90q, "along for the ride".

on the highly accurate 'brake dust scale' my front wheels dust 3 or 4x as
much as the rears. the fronts will be black and the rears will have a very
slight dusting on them.

that has changed since i switched to the porterfield r4s's. MUCH less dust
and only a little squeaky.
