Stephen-
I think you may have caught on to something- I thought it might have
something to do with EDL as that only actuates on the rear axle.

Unless you're driving a lot on low-traction surfaces and trying to
get the car sideways all the time, I don't think you'll see too much brake
wear due to ESP interaction.
