I have a complete Coupe interior here, and there is a hole at the back of the
door panel to mark the cut-out needed for the manual crank. And in the Euro
ETKA, the door panel is the same for all cars, manual or power.

The door panels will be different.

has anyone ever converted from power to manual windows on the CGT? i
assume
that the '84 and earlier CGT's had manual windows... will the
regulators fit
on the '85-'87 CGT and how hard is the conversion?

****real easy. It's a bolt-on, I guess.

anyone got a pair of manual window regulators they'd part with?

**** I've look into this last year, no used to be found, no new either.
But if I
was willing to wait, they were able to order me some from Germany for
not much
less than an electric regulator. More than 250$CAN for the manuals,
475$CAN for
the electric. So I declined.

There may be a cheap solution though: the Coupe GT regulators are very
similar
to many other European cars that use the same brand (Brose, with a
Siemens
motor). One that I saw in person was the front door regulators from a
Saab 9000,
and they do look very similar. Maybe you can source these cheap, and
repair/adapt your old regs from the Coupe ?

Motor/Gearbox should be the same, you use the Coupe's rail+slider,
you'll only
have to replace the cable (not easy, but I've done it twice and both are
still
working).
