After having relationship with bikes and hospitals as long as Unka
Bart, and giving up biking after heavy accident on Yam 350 RDLC (the
biggest fun bike ever), can fully underline what he said in his
inimitable style, and only add: Get a light reliable bike that stops on
six pence, holds the road superbly, steers well, has a good seat and
relaxed riding position, as if your life depends on it. Otherwise you'll
be the victim of image, traffic conditions, pocket or health. As all
weather rider, you should consider at least one accident per year, as a
city rider two at least. In London we use to call dispatch riders "organ
donors", for their extreme invisibility to the driving community in general.
Advanced riding school is a must.
Good luck,
Ado
