Dave,

Odd that you're getting that code yet dash boost works?

Bentley says to check vac lines from intake to ign unit. Use a vacuum tester
to pull vac at intake area connection and see if it bleeds off vacuum. Don't
remember if that line is "t'd" on the 2 knock sensor unit, but check all of
the lines.. (Quick, getting cold tomorrow night here in the NE)

Is the ox sensor okay?

Don't believe the co2 content normally needs adjustment unless it's been
fiddled with or something else is wrong. Are you compensating for a lean
mixture due to a vac leak or bad sensor? Generic heated ox sensor (believe
it's a ford Taurus or something of the sort, Google Audifans) is pretty
cheap, less than $50. If you replace it you've eliminated a possibility.
Normally don't advocate throwing parts in on a hunch, but if you haven't
replaced it in forever now's the time. Generic one needs wiring splices and
is simple to do.

Bentley (Don't know if you have one?) states effects of code 2221 are no
boost pressure control or acceleration enrichment. Think you're on to
something.

My personal opinion as pertains to my vehicles and maintenance thereof:
Nobody cares about my car more than me. I take personal pride in fixing
things and knowing it's right. I've turned wrenches for many years, have
worked on a lot of vehicles that the previous mechanic obviously didn't know
what he was doing or just didn't care. Morale is...fix it yourself!

Blah, blah, blah...

Eric
