'91 200tq20v instrument cluster issues (how odd,lol)

Check out the 200 20V forum, (Instrument cluster repair) there was some
dialogue and a link with "pictures". First IC I ran the two jumpers as the
link suggests. One I did the other night I just soldered in a small chunk
(maybe 1/16" long piece of copper wire, sans insulation right on top of the
lower joint. (Didn't have any 22 gauge to jumper the whole thing). Both IC's
I fixed the lower trace was bad.

If you solder in the longer wire make sure you use small stuff. If the wires
too thick it's a PITA to get circuit board flat.

Both IC's did pretty much the same thing you describe.
