Alternative to pricey Fuel Accumulator?

I had to replace my FP Accumalator last year.
The Accumulator itself does not leak. The hose attachment fittings are what
leaks.
The problem with replacing the attachments is that you cannot take them off
the accumulator. They are rusted on solid.
Over the summer, I've been playing with electro-lytic derusting.
You already have the equipment at home.
bucket
water
battery charger
Piece of iron metal for electrode
tablespoon of washing soda (not baking soda)
Attach negative charger lead to part, positive to electrode in the water
solution. Leave it alone overnight or more. Thats basically it.
Here are the results - Before and After Pix:

In the future, I'll write up a lengthy How To article with pictures.
I've derusted rear brake calipers, and they came out looking good - also
done fuel hoses and brackets.
