I would get M3s- that way if you kill any more, you're just getting more
M3s.

You'd want the compound to be as close as possible so that you don't get
widely
disparate traction. I'd think that getting the newer but same brand and
similar model
tire will give you the closest compound.

You will regret it if you get really different snow tires on different
axles- either you'll
get massive over or understeer, either way would be really bad if you don't
expect it.
