Can you locate this rally 4000Q?

I remember competing against that car at Mount Washington. There was also a
4KQ rally car with a turbocharged 10V engine competing. I'm pretty sure the
other one was white and came from New Jersey.

Good luck tracking it down.

Hi - I owned that car from 2001 until 2003.

While I owned it, it remained NA, however, was classified as "open" due to
battery being moved, lexan door windows and holes in the hood - but no fear
we still took 2nd in 'Open' class in the Maine Forest Winter rally despite
that.

I've been looking for emails of the gentleman that I sold it to in 2003.
I've not kept anything from that far back - but I thought he was from
Michigan ?

As far as hill climb? My very first event was the last Mt. Washington climb
to the clouds event held, but was kept as a Rally car. It was very much
loved by the Canadian crowd!

I'll keep looking and let you know if I find something.

Rgds,

Vittorio -

"Today I decided that I wanted to track down the Audi 4000CS Quattro rally
car that my dad built probably 10 years ago or so. It is (or was) black with
a
yellow nose, and it had BMW headlights. It also had 2 Hella lights on the
front, as well as holes drilled into the hood on both sides for ventilation.
I dont
have memberships to all the major VW/Audi forums, so I am turning to you
guys
for help. I have been searching all day to no avail.

Here is a pic (I have more, I will upload them later), all were taken after
we sold it by the next owners."

Another tidbit.

"I think it got turned into a Hillclimb car around 2000, and that is when I
lost track of it. It would pop up here and there on rally classifieds, but
recently I havent seen it."

It's a guy from a local board I'm on in Columbus Ohio. What he didn't add is

that his dad is no longer with us. I'm sure, as you would assume, that this
would mean a lot to him if he could find info on the car. It looks like he
might
want to track it down to try to buy it. I would greatly appreciate any
possible info or forwarding this to any boards would. Thanks a lot everyone!
