Huw is right. I think I spent under $10 for a replacement hood cable (which
included the handle) for my now sold '86 4000 q. There's no need to go with
a glue fix. Not worth it when you could buy something that will definitely
last for another 15 years or so and is one of the cheapest parts you can buy
for your car.
