Thanks for the reply Aaron. I managed to get them out - in chips. I ended up breaking both ends off, the head first then tightening the nut until it broke, then drilling the length of the remaining bolt with successively larger bits until I could bang the final bits out. Took about 6 hours for 2 stupid bolts. The rest of theCV joint took about 4 hours. What a PIA!
I tried PB Blaster, banging, heat, banging, pressing, more heat, more banging, More Banging, MORE BANGING! They were rusted solid. Black & Decker saves the day again.
