90 Quattro light switch

Hi all,

I'm working on a project that has brought up an interesting
question/possible dilema.

I'm putting a 1995 90 Quattro dash into a 1982 Jetta Diesel. I have
nearly enerything needed to complete it as well as the wiring
necessary to rewire the car. However, as the parts 90 is torn apart, I
can't figure out where the factory light switch was located. I'm
thinking on the column (like a type 44) but really hoping not. Why
not, because I can't use those switches in the Jetta. Not enough room.
Anyhow, I'd really appreciate some light(pardon the pun) on the
subject. This is a somewhat unexpected bump in the road.
