B3 90q - Trunk/Boot Won't Unlock

B4 you start drilling holes in the B3....
If (kind of a big IF, but worth trying) by chance the trunk lock was set
to the "open with doors" mode when it broke, remove the hose at the pump
and apply positive air pressure to the hose.  A bit of extra air pressure
might overcome any binding or leaking at the trunk actuator enough to
push on the lock mechanism.
