Changing a car's color (and paint shops in southern NH

wow. i just had the front and rear bumpers, hood and trunk of my car
repainted to erase "city rash" and it was 2400$ [in san francisco]
there was almost no real body work required, as all of the panels had
minor issues but no real dents. the shop did a lovely job, and i filed
an insurance claim so it only cost me $200 out of pocket.

>> As a reference point, I had my old red '87 4000q repainted at one of the
better shops in Concord for 2800$, but that was 10yrs ago or so now.
