'96 A4 Maintenence Questions

I will be doing some maintenance on a '96 A4 - non-quattro, automatic trans.
With 2.8l V6.

 

Mileage is approaching 60K, so I assume the timing belt is near due and would
like to know if there are any difficulties or caveats with the job.  I have no
Bentley for this car, so appreciate any tips or procedure regarding this,
especially if it is not straightforward.  Also, what is the book rate on this
job?

 

I plan to do the serpentine belt - definitely needs replacement.  I hope this
is fairly easy.

 

Any other items I should address.  This is a customer car, so I want to be
thorough, but not do anything unnecessary.

 

Anyone have a Bentley for this car - cheap?
