They're probably all accounted for already, but Audi is definitely behind
the curve this time around, cloth top?  If you check out used
convertibles (like the SL's) , there is a huge difference in demand/price
for a retractable top model vs. the old canvas top.  Evidently "Vorsprung
durch Technik" stops around the top of the door skins.

Personally, I dislike the folding steel hardtops that are the current rage. They take up too much trunk space when folded and are just another complex system to go awry upon warranty expiration.

Then again, I also drive British sportscars with horribly-designed tops....
