AAA towing Quattro

Depends upon the region. Where I live (i.e. extremely rural) I found out
that I could ask
for Plus right away just for asking. They (not I) reason that it's pretty
well impossible to
find a shop to tow to within the "regular" membership radius (30 miles?), so
I was able
to sign up for Plus on my first year of membership. Not sure that this is
the normal
policy, however, but I got the impression was, no. This was one of those
rare circumstances
where going to the brick and mortar shop paid off, there was no chance that
this offer
would've been made had I done the membership on-line (I know, I tried).
