Gas Mileage

I picked up a 90 CQ earlier this year as my daily driver.  I have been
getting 22-24 mpg town, and 28+ highway since purchase, all on 92 octane.
My car seems to pull nicely, with a less peaky powerband than some I have
driven.  This may be attributable to the Maren fuel injectors, or the TAP
chip, I don't know.  I did not install either of those, but with the way it
runs, I surely won't mess with them.

Regarding low-teens mileage, something is seriously wrong there, I would
check all vacuum hoses and the air filter for general health.  Additionally,
the cam timing could be off a bit, causing both poor mileage and
"bogginess".  I know the 20v engines are interference, but how far off can
the cam timing be and still run?  I know 10v engines can be off a tooth or
two and still run, meanwhile exhibiting running issues.
