1991 200 tqa center muffler

Centers seem to fail faster than rears on these cars.  Probably a collection point for moisture.  I've had some glasspacks replacing the center muffler for the last four years on my sedan.  Cost was something like $140.  They just failed at the point they were welded to the piping.  Shop replaced them with straight piping for another $100 worth of fabricating.  Car is a bit "bright" in the exhaust noise now, but not really loud.  There's a slight drone inside at some speeds that requires a slightly louder radio setting.
