Interesting article, although the writer clearly did not do
his homework on the history of Audi, when he said that the Audi
brand was "cobbled together in the 1930s from three German automakers
under the bland label Auto Union". Even though he mentioned Horch,
Wanderer and DKW, he appears not to know that the fourth ring
in the emblem was of Audi, and Audi was a company founded
by August Horch in the 1909/1910 time frame after he left Horch,
his original company, due to disagreements with the management.
