(LAC) Forgive me father, for I am about to sin

It turns out the 328xi sportwagon is what I ended up with. I just got a production number from BMW, so it will be hitting the assembly line any day now.

I must say this was also a *very* nice ride. Much more refined than the A6/S6's I am used to, and even more unstoppable in snow. We recently got about 6 fresh inches, and I was able to take the demo car out for a test drive in the snow. Much more sure-footed than my A6, even though the A6 has better tires. And the stereo is even better than my Bose. All for $10K less than the A6Q Avant.

So if anyone is interested in a very good condition 2000 A6Q sedan with the rare 5-speed stick, a baby at only 117K miles, let me know. It will be on the marketplace soon.

Also, how about a BMW 3 or 5-series AWD wagon. I don't know much about the AWD system, though.

BTW, I'd go with the summer rubber, then buy the snows. I know it's a pain, but in the end, the tires are ultimately what grip the road. No electronics or AWD can make up for lack of tire traction.

My trusty old 2000 A6Q is no longer cutting it for me, I need a wagon.
Given the way AoA treated me in my time of need with this A6, and the
price they've raised new Avants to, I can't even stomach the thought of
a new Audi. So I went looking around. Nothing really struck me, until by
chance I got to test drive a Volvo V70-R.  Oh my......
