Vittorio,

I've had seven quattros (must be retarded) now in snowy Montana.  The
first, a 4000q, had no speed sensor on the lock out which I experimented
with locked and unlocked in a lot of situations.  I've found the cars
handle best in virtually all slick situations in the unlocked positon.
Only time I've ever actually had a use for the lock is when I got stuck
in the driveway after a 30" dump.

Going to look at a posible #8 next week...a 95.5 S6 avant.  Must be
retarded.
