high performance street tires? ?

I ran several sets of 712's and liked them for the cost and 3 season
performance (daily driver - "spirited" driving per TireRack tak). They
are okay except for the "tramming" which only effects them on heavily
rutted truck lanes.
I just ordered a set of the SPT's. We'll see how they drive.
